Bronzeville Veteran's Day Parade

The Chicago Military Academy - Bronzeville's Cadets participated in the Annual Bronzeville Veteran's Day Parade and a ceremony to honor African American Veterans. The Cadets marched from 43rd and Martin Luther King Drive to 35th and King Drive.

D.R.I.V.E. AWARD WINNER

Congratulations to Mrs. Nina Williams for winning the D.R.I.V.E. (Delivering Results Through Innovation and Visionary Education Teacher Award) for Area 26 on Thursday, October 23, 2008. The award was created to recognize excellence and exceptional performance. Teachers were nominated by their own peers. One teacher per area was selected. There were 23 winners out of 3,000 applicants.

Chicago Shakespeare Theatre
Congratulations to Senior Lucinda Parra for her performance as Lady Macbeth and a witch in the Macbeth play sponsored by CPS Shakespeare! This play was held at Chicago Shakespeare Theater at Navy Pier on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th. This is Lucinda's third year in the CPS Shakespeare! program.

City Corp Commissioning Ceremony

Cadets Felicia Pack, Abigail Avila and Jordan Listenbee were inducted into City Corp on Friday, September 19th at the South Shore Cultural Center. They will represent CMA-B for the 2008-2009 school year.

CMA-B Wins General Bacon Bowl
On Sunday, October 12, 2008 Chicago Military Academy-Bronzeville Eagles defeated Carver Military Academy 48-14.
The General Bacon Cup remains in CMA-B's Hall of Fame. CMA-B's record is 5-2. GO EAGLES!!!
